My Review of the Mophie Juice Pack Air part 1
I admit it. I was skeptical about getting a juice pack but necessity called. My cover (iFrogz) chipped and broke within a week so I had been gluing it back together so I needed a new cover…. But that’s not the reason for a juice pack is it? I had been running so many apps at once that I was draining the battery within 7 hours of use! Blame it on excessive Facebook and Twitter usage!
Now off to the technical stuff:
So I needed a quick fix so I bought a Mophie Juice Pack Air.
It’s a case and a quick power source in one. It has a pretty sleek design (all rounded edges) and weighs about 2.66 ounces.
Also, it comes with a mini USB connection that can hookup into the normal iPhone Charger plugin. The USB can also get plugged into your laptop or any computer or car charger as long as it has a USB female connection on the car charger.
Mine did not come pre-charged and they recommend charging prior to using and you can do it without having it on the phone. Four Nice LED’s on the back to let you know how much charge you have. (4=full the last light blinks)
I have been using it for a few days. So far pretty happy with the Mophie Juice Pack Air ( I got the red one) but I am going to put it through some rough tests to see if it is robust enough (including a 5 year old and a 2 year old playing with it and using it constantly to play First Words app by learning touch constantly!) I will give you my ongoing tests. Photos and Video coming soon!
